Hi Everyone,
I’ve been a longtime contributor to Google Maps and was even part of the ‘Google Map Maker’ program back in the day. However, I’ve noticed that many of my reviews seem to be under some sort of silent filter, with only a fraction gaining public visibility.
As an example, in the last two weeks, I’ve posted 10 reviews. Some included photos, a few were 5-star reviews, and others were lower-rated or without photos. Of these, one review has over 2,000 views, while the other nine have no public views at all. Looking back further, it seems about 50% of my reviews are visible to others, while the rest aren’t public or have no views at all.
I’m genuinely passionate about sharing my experiences and want to make a positive impact in my community. I also put effort into writing thoughtful, detailed reviews and it’s disheartening to know most aren’t being seen. That said, I’d really appreciate any feedback or advice on why this might be happening and how I can address it.
To my knowledge, I haven’t violated any policies, but I’m open to learning if there’s something I’ve overlooked. Has anyone else experienced this? Any guidance would mean a lot!
Thank you!
