Once upon a time in Mumbai !

Back in the year 2014, during my final year of graduation I had an excursion trip to Mumbai with my fellow classmates and seniors from college.

It was a 3 days 2 night journey by train from Guwahati which is almost approx 2086 km, and a 2.5 hours journey from Shillong ( my hometown) to Guwahati Railway Station.

We were almost 30 of us including our faculty member and admin officer. We had our stay at the ‘Meghalaya House’ (in Navi Mumbai).

It was an awesome experience and yes definitely my first experience to a Metropolitan City.

It was only ten days trip for us but we had our best time. We visited the Gateway of India, Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus, the Elephanta Caves, Juhu Beach, some of the famous temples and yes ofcourse the children parks hehehe.

This was also my first time experiencing a delicious Pav Bhaji ( the Mumbaikars’ delicacy)

The best thing that I like about visiting Mumbai was the 1 hour ferry ride while visiting the Elephanta Caves from Gateway of India.

It’s been 6 long years since the last visit and I’m looking forward to explore Mumbai once again.

Glad to know that you liked Mumbai.
In the next trip, you should visit the hanging gardens, the queens necklace & Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahaly.

As a foodie Pav Bhaji got my attention, can you tell us a bit more about it?
