Other Arabic countries don’t prepare it, However it’s available in their sweets’ shops.

Ingredients:

1- Qatayef tablets made from ( Flour, water, Sugar,Yeast, little splash of Salt, Vanilla, and the Baking Powder)

2- Sugar . 3- ground Heart Walnut. 4- Coconut. 5- ground Cinnamon.

Recipe:

1- Mix the Qatayef tablets’ ingredients in an electric mixture , then take the mixture into a parts ( rounded Tablets ). Fry them little over a hot fire ( without oil ).

2- Combine the Filling ( Sugar, salt, Coconut, ground Cinnamon, and the Heart Walnuts )

3- Start filling the tablets by the filling mixture one table spoon for each tablet.

4- When done from filling the tablets, start frying the filled pieces of tablets in a hot oil. When they start be redden while frying, they are ready to be eaten, pull them out of the Pan.

Salam @OSAMA_1 , the shape, texture and ingredients needed almost look similar to pancake or sweet muartabak that we have in Indonesia. Why qatayef is only available in Ramadan?

Hello.my brother @AdriansyahPutera , I am very happy to see you here in my page again. Well, your question is kinda genius :v:. Though I expect a numbers of people here in Connect to as me this quest, they didn’t ! . Qatayef is really popular only in Ramadan month because of people ! They made it to be special desserts in Ramadan, because they want it only in Ramadan because of their thoughts. As a matter of fact, Qatayef can be available across the year anytime, but from our long history They thought that Qatayef will be with a special flavors in Ramadan and as a religious occasion. If people concerned to Qatayef and search for it anytime across the year, it would be not once a year. They are the reason. The ingredients ( Heart Walnut ) not available across the year only in Ramadan.

I hope my answer is clear.
