This will be the first Geowalk for the Nairobi Local Guides community and am excited to invite all of you…Oloolua is 18 km from Nairobi CBD which makes it around 40 minutes from cbd given the usual traffic. The park charges 200 entrance fee and the transport costs are sh100 to and sh 100 using public means. Dress in comfortable attire and bring shoes that are easy to walk in. Bring a water bottle and if you can pack adequate snacks which we can share in a picnic style.
The weather forecast for our meetup is perfect! it will be cloudy and not too much sun! that will be exciting… bring a hat and you can pack a pocket size umbrella to prepare for any eventuality in terms of weather
My estimation is we will walk around for 2 hours max so if we start at 3 on the dot am certain we will be done by 5 so that 5-6 we can exchange pleasantries and those who would feel time pressed can excuse themselves
