Olives and Cheeses in every meal when visiting Morocco

Maybe I am Asian and with total different diet of culture, I found it was quite interesting and curious for me to eat lots of olives with so many colors and various tastes of cheeses, when I leaded a tour group from Taiwan to visit Morocco.

In the hotel of cities in Morocco, everyday, the breakfast and dinner will present every kind of olives, of course they provide you all sorts of cheeses including their local cheeses, and I am getting used to eat them, also with knowing that it is the Mediterranean diet , which worldwide famous of culture of longevity food.

Tangier, in the traditional market, you can find the olives vendors and many vivid food sellers.

Hi @porkgoldzhuzhu I just knew that cheese in Morocco is the part of Mediterranean diet.

How did the local cheese taste? Was it salty, a little bit sour?

The cheeses of Morocco in my memory of taste, I think it should be a bit of salty and especially, the every kind of the olive is much salty for me. For me the Asian, I take one habit from Morocco with me is that I am beginning to eat my bread dipping in the olive oil. Healthy, maybe?

Dipping the bread onto the olive oil. Interesting! Do you add on another topping to the bread?

I’ve never tried it before. But my favorite food made from olive oil is Aglio Olio Pasta.

Hello @Velvel there is not any topping on the bread, but with very mild taste. A. O. Pasta, I have never tried before, and I think it must be full of variety of flavors…
