@To_paul so good to know you have this in your country. Yes it is used for hair growth especially the black castor oil, (I presume it’s black because some other hair growth essentials are also added to it.) Have you ever seen the seeds in your country? Do you know where it is grown?

I just read it.

@Austinelewex well I know it is a laxative but the oil extracted from the seed does not contain ricin; the ricin protein is left behind in the “castor bean mash” after the oil is extracted from the seed

Do you know that the Ogili plant (Castor Oil Plant) Ricinnus Communis is the most deadly/poisonous plant in the world?
The husk of the Ogili seeds that our people have been handling bare handed for hundreds of years is the source of ricin poison that is used as a deadly chemical weapon agent?
Somehow, we have been able to safely de-husk the seeds, ferment them and make ogili without even knowing what we have been tampering with
