@To_paul so good to know you have this in your country. Yes it is used for hair growth especially the black castor oil, (I presume it’s black because some other hair growth essentials are also added to it.) Have you ever seen the seeds in your country? Do you know where it is grown?
Hahahahaha @To_paul So you’re afraid of poisoning.
I now understand why you do not want to get associated with the castor oil or seed.
Anyways I am also afraid of things that doesn’t have cure or antidote.
You’re not alone my dear Friend
@Austinelewex read this article
I noticed a plant two ornamented. @NkemNwobu
Industrial is grown in South America for biodiesel
I just read it.
He was killed by Bulgarian Secret service with a shot containing ricin fired to his leg.
So sad he was assassinated.
So sad @To_paul .
It is good to learn from other people’s experiences.
They say “experience is the best teacher”.
Thanks for the information. I have learned something this night @To_paul
Do you know that castor oil is toxic @NkemNwobu ?
@Austinelewex well I know it is a laxative but the oil extracted from the seed does not contain ricin; the ricin protein is left behind in the “castor bean mash” after the oil is extracted from the seed
@Austinelewex Thank you for mentioning me. I don’t think I have seen this seed. But I know that it is used in oil related matter.
@NkemNwobu It is nice to know about the Ogiri Igbo and caster oil seeds. Thank you for sharing this post with us.

Now let me blow your mind.
Do you know that the Ogili plant (Castor Oil Plant) Ricinnus Communis is the most deadly/poisonous plant in the world?
The husk of the Ogili seeds that our people have been handling bare handed for hundreds of years is the source of ricin poison that is used as a deadly chemical weapon agent?
Somehow, we have been able to safely de-husk the seeds, ferment them and make ogili without even knowing what we have been tampering with
I believe you would find the detailed process on YouTube. Do a thorough research. All the best
Wow. I’m blown by this information. Like our people say, what one doesn’t know about would not harm you. Thank you for this important information.
