Hi Local Guides, time is moving forward, and as we already started to know virtually each other while sharing our video application in Let’s the fun start - Share your video here , what about to move one more step forward.

We learned from each other that making a video cannot be so simple, we have to try and try and try again. The conversation started here, thinking about what can happen when you try to record your video in the middle of the nature, and while you are recording a truck pass by, with a lot of noise, or you simply forget your script, trying to be natural on video, or a lot of people stops near you to watch what you are doing, or it starts to rain (OMG)

“Hey, there is an American TV filming our city” was the news that moved fast two years ago, while I was trying to record one part of my video in the city center. I had to renounce, and move on another location.

Small funny moments, that we have recorded but we will NEVER USE for our application.

So, why not to assemble that scenes on a video of “bloopers, and outtakes”, as also suggested by @KarenVChin and @Ivan_KarabalievSME

Here we are, do not be ashamed. Take your time, check your video, and show us the funny part of everyone of us. Smiling is part of the therapy needed on these day of insulation.

I really enjoyed watching bloopers of your 2019 application video. Quite interesting to see such type of back to camera scenes. No one can shoot a video perfectly in one go. I shot my application video at home only, due to lock down, and I also took 8 retakes in shooting my application video and after that also I did few editing in the video to link screenshots of my Map and achievements.

Very soon I will be sharing few shots of the bloopers of my application video.

Yes, @Sandeepnirvan , and the mistakes, even behind a wonderful video, are what makes you and me humans.

More a video is elaborate, more times you have to record the scenes.

We are local guide, not video maker, but trying to make a good video for many of us is a way to learn something new, like @KarenVChin said on her video

@ErmesT I still have those many outtakes of my application video. Please don’t ask me to share them. Oh no. I thought only me like that. But I know now I’m not alone. :sunglasses:

This is exactly what I am asking you. Please do not be ashamed. I am a Moderator of this community, with more than 1200 solutions, more than 70.000 likes, respect for the content I share, so putting my face in this is not easy for me. But I wanted to do this because we are all humans, and we absolutely need to smile, in this very moment. If I can do this, everyone can do it. I never ask others to do something if I do not do it first.

After seeing your video, I definitely agree with @KarenVChin , we need a bloopers section in the application submission, to show the hard work of making a video.

Can we think about this for the next year, just for sharing a smile @TraciC ???

Thanks @ErmesT smiles for free on these days are like gold! I had funny moment in Tigre too, I remember be alone and suddenly a baby show up crying and crying and well I started to walk to another place lol

It is be waiting for video’s of mentioned connect guides and will post my blooper video for sure. By this way we are helping to diminish the fear of mistakes in posting videos by other local guides. It shows that more or less we are same human beings, and can make mistakes while shooting videos. Thanks

My feeling, @ravindus , is that we need to smile, we need to think and to talk about life and beauty, especially when we are literally bombed by the news, repeated in an obsessive way also here in connect.

The sun will raise again, and I am waiting for the the sun. I live in the North of Italy, I am locked down in my fifth week, so I know perfectly what we are talking about.

That’s why I am writing about places to visit, for giving to the Local Guides the possibility of traveling with the mind, if we can’t do it physically, following what @Kwiksatik is doing, trying to talk about love and beauty. Of we need a clown I will put my red nose on my face, no problem.

I am looking for smiles
