What are the dishes that are usually served during this period of the year? What are the meals that you are missing the most?

Is there a particular dish for Ramadan, a meal that everyone in your country associates it with this sacred month?

Thanks for interest to know about Ramadan dishes of our country.

Actually there are few dishes commonly served in the month of Ramadan as ifter either in home or in restaurant.

Piaju, Beguni, chola, Muri, Potato chop, Chicken Onthon, Chicken Samucha, Mutton halim, Chicken suslic, Jilapi, Vegetable Roll and Khejur etc are the common dishes.

But, specially in the city most of the hotel and restaurant offer some special dishes like arabian and thai dishes beside above during this period. The main feature of this arrangement is, people would visit the hotels and restaurants along with their family and friends to have ifter and dinner together for enjoying delicious and mouthwatering foods. This time it is missing due to corona pandemic as lock down is going on. I am missing one of my favorite dish Halim.
