New York City : National 9/11 Memorial and museum visit #NYC
This is the most impressive place in New York City. When in NY you must visit the memorial and museum. We bought our tickets at the ATM en could enter immediately after security check. It’s big, really big, so take your time to let it all in. It’s a respectfull museum and memorial. People who visit are very quiet. There is a special area where it’s forbidden to take pictures or make videos.
I was quite emotional and really took me back to 9/11 2001. We visited this together with the One World Center Observatory
You reminded me of my frequent Weekend visits to NYC with this post. NYC was less than an hour away from where I lived in NJ.
Given that, I didn’t get a chance to visit 9/11 Memorial Center, however, reading your post, specifically seeing the pictures makes me feel why I didn’t.
Wherefore, as you mentioned- it made you emotional, I never urged myself to go visit it.
