The experience at the new palace was delightful as there were no queues to enter the palace, though the ticket counter had a few people lined up since it was a Sunday.
The entrance and exit for the palace museum are the same so note the galleries that you pass on the inward journey and track them back to the entrance.
Note: The new palace has limited accessibility.
Nice sprawling lawns provide a nice place to take a break and enjoy the great views of the palace.
Nice observation, @Kumaarsantosh
The ticket is for the Shahaji Museum that is housed inside the New Palace
Unfortunately, photography is strictly not allowed inside the Palace+Museum so no photos beyond the doorstep.
Photos are very good and beautiful the place also looks fantastic, thanks for sharing the post about this place @TusharSuradkar , hope if someday I will visit kolhapur I will visit this place too.
I like the post, the amazing photos of the Palace, the Hotel Shlok, mouthwatering food items, and the detailed review. Thanks for sharing dear @TusharSuradkar ji
Woww beautiful pictures. I think, Photography shouldn’t have been allowed inside to preserve the sanctity of this historical palace. Hope you enjoyed the visit.

Thank you @ShreyaMusings@Ssiddharth2000
Yes, they don’t allow photography inside the palace since they have displayed original family photos of the royal family and they do not want those should be captured in photos by the public and displayed on social media.
Quite a reasonable expectation IMO
