I’ve been slow crawling my way to Level 7 for what feels like forever 
and I’m finally just 25 points away! I can’t wait to officially join the Level 7 family.
For those who recently hit Level 7, did you receive any perk or reward from Google? Curious to know what to expect!
No, @Kiemute, not for level 7, nor 8 nor 9 nor 10.
That, I can tell you: Unfortunately nothing. Google didn’t promise us anything, but said, you may receive something, if you set the option in your profile to get notified, but you should not expect anything.
That’s quite sad. I received socks in Level 5 and a tote bag in Level 6. I’ve been looking forward to receiving a pin🫠
Hi @Kiemute . Funny, but you received more perks than me (excluding of course 3 invitation to Connect Live and 2 “Guiding Star” badges). Personally I never expect a reward for my contributions, I just contribute because I am an avid user of Google Maps, and all together we are making Maps more helpful for everyone.
My tip is: never expect a reward, and you will be very happy if (when) you will receive it

No, I didn’t expect anything, so I wasn’t disappointed when I didn’t receive anything @Kiemute. I just continued happily through Level 8 and Level 9, and am now almost at Level 10.

I would like to clarify that there are no special gifts or rewards for Google Local Guides. However, in some cases, you may receive an invitation to participate in special events if you qualify. If this happens, you will be notified.
