Digha is nearly 180 km by road from Kolkata, There is a myth about Digha , if Bengali get a chance for spending holiday , they go to Digha . We went Digha by bike, the journey was about 7.30 hours because we visit every beaches and spending time their between Mandarmoni to New Digha . Till now It’s the best journey of my life. Riding Bike at Talsari Beach was also a great experience . The cost of hotel booking and food is also reasonable. Overall it’s a great place to visit by low cost at the weekend for the people of Westbengal .

It’s my first trip at this area as well as first long distance trip by bike. I enjoyed lot , though we stayed there for two days. At night we would go to the beach and felt the atmosphere by hearing the roaring of " Bay of Bengal " . At that time we would drink 
& eat frying 
and other sea food.
