Never lost again. Being the best organizer ever

I’m always the person in the group who organizes all the trips’ agenda and plan. I don’t like to feel lost when I arrived to a new place. Before any trip I try to look for places you shouldn’t miss or the best restaurants and bars.

Some years ago I had to buy guide books each time I got abroad. If I was lucky and some friend had been there before (and I trusted in his/her preferences ;)) I also had some suggestions or a list of check points.

However it was difficult to improvise and every plan had to be fix in advance. We knew each day exactly what we were going to do (sometimes I had two options…but no more).

Since last year, when I discovered local guides, and thanks also to the fact that we have internet connection easily and available almost everywhere, I can be more flexible and creative during my trips.

I feel safer, I don’t feel lost at all!! I can find a place to have lunch, dinner or just to have a rest depending on where we are in the city at that moment. I have the opinions, comments and recommendations of a great variety of people (not only from the person who wrote the guide book).

I can seize and exploit the day better. I can be more flexible and be able to discover places that become treasures. And also my boyfriend and friends thank that everything is no so planned.

If I can give back at least a part of what I take with my reviews, it will be worthy. I like thinking that just with my opinion I would be helping other people and also to restaurants and bars owners.

Many nights before getting sleep, I try to write some reviews or contribute answering some questions in maps. It takes me just a few minutes but it makes sense for me.
