Hello Friends. Its very hot in my area. The temperature is nearly around 43 degree Celsius. It is very difficult to go outside in the heat but I got a small break from my work and rather than resting at home I was decided to go outside in this heat and then I visited Nemawar town in Madhya Pradesh.
Nemawar is a small town in Dewas District, Madhya Pradesh, India. Nemawar is located on the left bank of the Narmada river opposite to Handia. Nemawar is a holy place for both Hindus and Digambar sect. of Jain Pilgrims on Narmada Parikrama often visit this place.
The Major Tourist attractions of Nemawar are -
- Shri Siddheshwar Mahadev Temple
- Digambar Jain Temple
- Maa Narmada Navel Point
Navel point is situated in the middle of the river. To reach there boat facility is available from both Nemawar and Harda sides. Sidhheshwar Temple is one of the oldest temple of Nemawar which was build by Pandavas during Vanvas in Mahabharata. The Temple was again redeveloped by King of Parmar
Dynasty Raja Bhoj. Both Nemawar and Handia are considered as Tourist and Pilgrimage sites. Both town are located in the opposite of each other. Narmada river divides both towns as well as Dewas and Harda Districts.
Like Sidhheshwar Temple there is Ridhheshwar Temple in Handia.
Near to Handia there is newly build temple named Shree Shiva Karuna Dham. It was a very good temple. But there local authority prohibited photography in there premises. So I am sharing a photo of Shv Karuna Dham which I got from the authority.
So this was all about Nemawar and Handia. I wish you all will like it.
Nemawar is situated on Indore Betul National Highway No. 47 (Old NH 59A). The Nearest Railway Station from Nemawar is Harda (23 Kms).
I also request my senior Lg’s @TravellerG @PrasadVR @NareshDarji @Shrut19 @keshavdsd @Jafir_01 and @Tandrima2 @ to please have a look once.
Jai Shree Ram

You covered all three important destinations in one post!
Great!
I have heard about the famous Shri Siddheshwar Mahadev Temple. But what is this. “Sachithr Jain Temple”? I’m eager to know that…
Maa Narmada Navel Point is explained well.
Thank you for sharing this information and interesting post. Your photos are definitely impressive and contextual - really helpful!
Thanks also for tagging because otherwise I would have missed this post.

@LovePathak28 ji
Wonderful post and explained very well.
Devas is fall between bhopal to indore by road we crossed and always stopped for POHE sev and JALEBI. delicious and traditional breakfast of your area.
I had visited and took holybatch in OMKALEASWAR MUM LESNAR trip and done small tracking after holy dip in narmada which completed the shape of track as
OM which finished at last temple
of bhawani back to Omkareshwar (one of the 12 Jyotirlinga across India).
Due to shortage of time we couldn’t complete the great NARMDA PARIKARMA ,but believe me thats in my wish list.
Thanks for tagging @TravellerG
Really its a great post.

Thank you @TravellerG sir
. The Jain temple which I clicked is a big piligrimage site of people who follow Jainism. The temple is still under construction. It is a group of 26 temples. They used traditional construction material for building temple instead of Iron and concrete. Full Nemawar town is conserved by Archeological Survey of India.
After the completion of Indore Betul National Highway project and Indore Budhni railway line Nemawar’s connectivity will become more easier.

Thank you @Anil6969 sir
. Yes Poha Jelebi is our traditional morning snack which we also made in our home sometimes. Omkareshwar is just like a heaven where Maa Narmada splits into two parts and we have also did the parikrama of the Om Shaped Path but due to shortage of time we also did it half.
