Hi Connectors! Today, I would like to share with you of my exercises and shorts history of the National Olympic Stadium.
I feel relaxed with the running and the place for exercises today. The National Olympic Stadium, located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, is a significant landmark with a rich and complex history. Designed by the renowned Cambodian architect Vann Molyvann, the National Sports Complex was constructed between 1963 and 1964.
Original Purpose: The stadium was initially intended to host the 1963 Southeast Asian Peninsular Games, but political issues at the time led to the cancellation of the event. It later hosted the 1966 GANEFO Games.
Current Use: The stadium is a multi-purpose venue used for various activities. It is the home of the Cambodian national football team and also hosts other sporting events, national celebrations, and concerts. It is also a popular public space for local residents to exercise in the early mornings and late evenings.
For me, the National Olympic Stadium is one of the best places in Phnom Penh that attracts me to visit and exercises. There is a long ways 1.4km round and big space with safety for parking and exercise activities. And the most favorite is the sunset there, it’s a spot to capture the sunset in the city.
Now is my exercises story, as today I got the distance badge on reaching 200 km of running.
Today after Local Guide Meet-Up, I have a plan for running at National Olympic Stadium, as I missed to go there 2 months. I start to running as normal with the new t-shirt of Cambodia Local Guide.
That’s all my story for Google Contribution this time, I hope it’s useful. If there is something that doesn’t match my writing, please confirm so I can fix it. Thank you.
