Nagpur The Geographical Center of India

Nagpur commonly known as Orange City of India is one of the most prosperous cities in India. It held the same importance during the British rules. Nagpur was considered as the geographical center of India. The British government used to measure distances of different cities from Nagpur.The Zero Mile Stone is still standing there and representing the center of the nation.

The Zero Mile Stone consists of a pillar made up of sandstone and another small stone representing the GTS Standard Bench Mark, and four stucco horses that represents the four cardinal directions of India.
