Beyond the points and stats one fun visual touch I really appreciate is how Google Maps customizes its post-contribution screen based on the category of the place.
Seafood Restaurant: A orange starfish illustration.
Shopping Centre: Colorful shopping bags complete, with stars.
Historical Landmark: A classic pillared museum, monument facade.
General Restaurant: A dinner plate framed with a fork, knife and 5-star rating.
I love to see these dynamic illustrations, which add a layer of personality every time contributing a photos or a review.
