My visit to Vizag right before the Nation Wide Lock down

It was’nt even my list to visit this place to start with. As i was on the phone call with my cousin brother after ages, he told me he was posted in vizag because of his work and asked me to visit while he was posted here. After few talks i found myself searching for flight tickets the next. It was around 1st week of March, where people were fighting with the corona over the world and it has started to slowly reach India in few states.

After a day or two i book my tickets and i was already on my way to vizag.

I want to briefly talk about this place. Vizag is beautiful city with lots of beautiful beaches and defense force to be proud of. My cousin is a Navy so i got to even visit Naval Bases, walked and tour inside the Submarines, Ships and Air base too. But due to security reasons photography isnt allowed. But they do keep, Submarine museum just by the bay and Airforce Museum too just opposite to it.

And yes, if not for google map, i wouldnt have visit this many places and would even have known about it.

Me coming from small town, surrounded by mountains, i had a great time during my one week stay.

They many beaches which are breath taking and beautiful.

But the sad reality is that you can find litters almost every where. It really destroys the mood. And other thing is that because of the presence of many Industries the waters isnt clean which make it unhealthy for us and for the marine life too.

Despite of that, i would still love to visit Vizag again in the future.

i want to upload pictures too but i guess i have issues with my laptop, so m sharing my make list to visit in vizag. enjoy :slightly_smiling_face:

Hai @Vahsi .

You are so lucky to have cousim who join the Navy.

Go inside a submarine is one of my dreams, so you are so lucky to make it happen to you.

Yes because its security and strategical base, it is prohibited to take pictures.

But your detailed story described it a lot.

Keep calm, stay healthy and always be happy

thank you so much for your kind words. i guess m very blessed to have a cousin working as navy. yes it was the surreal moments in my life going inside and exploring the submarine. Respect are for the people working with the submarine because the inside, there is no much space and times you have to bend. you should experience it too.
