My top 5 Iceland waterfalls

Hello everyone!!! I had an idea to make a rating of the most impressive waterfalls in Iceland. Iceland can be called the world capital of waterfalls. And five of them are the most beautiful.

  • The list opens a beautiful waterfall Urriðafoss. Not the biggest, but very famous. Located near the town Selfoss.

  • Fourth on my list is Gullfoss. It is the most popular waterfall in Iceland. Together with the park Þingvellir and nearby geysers, it composes the Golden Circle of Iceland. The waterfall is interesting in that it consists of two steps located at right angles to each other.

  • In third place is Goðafoss waterfall. Low, but very beautiful waterfall with turquoise water. Located 35 km from the city Akureyri to the east.
