My "That Wanaka Tree"

Visited Wanaka couple months ago and stayed at Water’s Edge for nights. Love to take a walk around Lake Wanaka and enjoy the sunshine/sunset there. Photos for That Wanaka Tree in the morning or in the evening are very different.

Thanks for sharing @sam_sfchiu . This photo is what it’s like when the lake level is low.

Hi @TheEagleEye ,

Am not very familiar with Lake Wanaka and your photo but I guess that’s not the Tree in the Lake but near the Water’s Edge.

Please refer to my first photo in this reply. The photo from you seems to be the rectangle in red. Then move to the second picture that shows the first photo was taken at arrow in black and ThatWanakaTree is geographically located at arrow in green. It’s kind of far away from the hotel because I walked about 10 minutes to reach ThatWanakaTree after taking the first photo.

Hope this make sense to you and me.

Yes @sam_sfchiu the photo I posted is the same tree as the one in the water. During the summer the lake gets low and the tree is out of the water.

I’m from New Zealand have have visited Wanaka many times.
