During my routine walk along the Baner Road in Pune, where I live, I stumbled upon a cozy little choco cafe tucked away in a quiet corner.
The owner seemed like a teenage Gen Z boy with a passion for handmade chocolates.
I quickly looked up Maps and noticed that the cafe wasn’t visible yet. Such opportunities are rare in a busy place like Baner Road.
I decided to add it, carefully entering the name, location, and details.
I uploaded only one photo of the cafe and continued to walk after filling in the other details.
I received the typical message about edit pending…
By the time I was home, the cafe appeared on Maps. It felt like a small victory 
Once the edit was approved, I added 2 more photos.
Now, future visitors can easily discover this hidden gem, and I feel proud to have contributed to its digital identity.
Adding places like this reminds me how our contributions help small businesses thrive and connect communities.
