My review is only visible to me

I left a review for a company but it is not visible unless I log in.

Does anyone know why this would be?

This is my review:

I will update this review if the issues with my 18 claims are resolved

A company that is a total nightmare to deal with.

If you want my honest opinion, don’t choose (name of company), go and look elsewhere. It will save your business a lot of time and hassle.

A few of the issues I have had with (name of company):

1) Very unprofessional. Their manner is abrupt and rude.

2) They will not hesitate to lie to you and will go back on their word until you search through all your messages and show them proof. Then they will lie some more and make false promises.

3) If your item goes missing, just say goodbye. I currently have 18 claims for lost parcels that date back to October 2020 which have not been paid. Their ‘claims department’ claim to get back to us within 6 -8 weeks. That has not happened - ever. I do not believe I will see even a penny from them.

4) They are very unhelpful and do not even reply many times. Any advice they do give (when they feel we are worth the response!) is very vague. So if you have not understood something, or need help don’t think even for a minute that you will get help off them.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. otherwise the list of problems is vast.

I would say, save your sanity, pay a little extra and go elsewhere.

I am not surprised for your review to be private, @popoa08

Flagging a review as private can be an automatic operation (made by an automated filter based on keywords), or manual, if your review have been reported, and checked.

The filter is working on keywords, e.g. prices, because they can be interpreted as spam. However, this is possible to fix, as you can see here below.

A review is made private when it violates the Maps User Contributed Content Policy

A negative review is perfectly fine, but cannot be a blackmail for the business, nor a personal rant

If a claim is not fixed, using a lawyer is much better then using a review as a leverage, like “I will update this review if the issues with my 18 claims are resolved

Making your review visible again is indeed possible, by modifying and republishing it, as you can read here below

Fixing your issue

As you can read in Flag and fix inappropriate content "If a review you wrote has been flagged and removed, you can fix it yourself. Edit your review to follow Google review policies — for example, you might remove a phone number or URL from the review. Your review will be automatically republished.

Google uses automated spam detection measures to remove reviews that are probably spam. Although legitimate reviews are sometimes inappropriately removed, these spam prevention measures help improve people’s experiences on Google by ensuring that the reviews they see are authentic, relevant, and useful."

So please try to edit your reviews to make them public again

Thanks @Giu_DiB for tagging me, and thanks @popoa08 for confirming that you were able to fix your issue.

As I said, even a negative review can be acceptable, when it helps the business to improve
