I checked Google Maps and I noticed one thing. There were many beautiful photos of the inside of the shop, but there was no clear photo of the outside front. People walking outside could not easily find the entrance.

After some time, I saw my photo was selected as the cover photo on Google Maps. I was very happy.
I know this is not permanent. This is not forever. If a senior Local Guide takes a better photo in the future, Google will change it with time. That is natural and I respect that.
As a Local Guide, I also work on Google Maps regularly. I try to take photos that help people to find a place easily. I will try to improve step by step.

What I liked most is the thinking behind it — you noticed the shop had plenty of nice photos of the inside but no clear shot of the outside front, so people walking past couldn’t find the entrance. That one photo probably helps more people than a dozen pretty ones. And you’re right, it won’t stay there forever, but that’s the fun of it. Keep an eye out for the next gap like this one.
