My messages on Connect have disappeared

Hi fellows & Team.

I’m almost stopped publishing on Connect for two reasons - almost no one sees them, and moderators are too aggressive proactive.

However, today I could not find my old publication. Please help me — let me know how to properly search for my own publications, or tell me why the publication was deleted.

This is one of the photos from the disappeared publication (it was a publication about FIFA World Cup 2018 - Around the Red Square):

Ping @KarenVChin @ErmesT @MashaPS

Thanks in advance!

Hi @SergeySud

All the post related to the FIFA world Cup have been merged together after the end of the event. Your post is here.

Thanks to the photo it was quite easy to find it ?

If you click over your photo (you used the same photo, from your album in Connect), when the photos open you will see the link to the original post (well, it works only for the photos posted before the migration, I will check why).

Another option is to make a search for keyword and author. In this case I filtered for FIFA RED SQUARE. Your post is on the reply of the fourth post.

The reason why you didn’t found it was that, being merged, the status is changed to “comment”. If you scroll ,down in the comment tab, your post is on page 4

Well, that’s all, my friend. Hope to be able to meet you in person again, instead to see you in a picture at PE summit.

Oh, maybe you missed this one

All the best to you, Sergey

Hi @ErmesT , thank you very much. I’m really happy to see you here, hopefully you will be able to visit Moscow soon.

About threads merging, I have a next step idea: will be much easier to merge ALL threads on Connect in to 5-10 GREAT MEGATHREADS, such a “Discovery and travel”, “LG Summits”, “Photos”, etc. It’s will be impossible to find something, but will be much easier to moderate it.

Hi @SergeySud ,

It is great that @ErmesT , cleared your worries. In addition I would like to remind you that posts on Connect are never deleted. They might be caught by the filters and sent to the spam quarantine (after that they can be released if are not spam) or removed to the off-topic archive section by moderator if they do not fit to any Connect topic.

Also as you probably now we have a separate section here - Idea Exchange, where you can freely share your ideas on improving Connect.

Thank you very much for your answer, @MashaPS .

I just want to remind the International Rule of All Forums in internet:

New question/issue/idea = New thread.

The rule keep forums clear and simple to write, to read, to search, to find, to understand. It’s totally unacceptable to merge all threads somehow related to something into the one huge mess.
