My Memorable Stay at Jaisalmer Hostel Crowd

During my recent trip to Jaisalmer, I stayed at Jaisalmer Hostel Crowd - an affordable, vibrant, and traveler-friendly place that truly enhanced my experience of the Golden City. At just ₹450 per day, it offered clean and comfortable rooms, a lively common area, and a warm, welcoming vibe.

The best part was its prime location, making it incredibly easy to explore Jaisalmer on foot:

  • Jaisalmer Fort - 400 meters :castle:

  • Patwon Ki Haveli - 350 meters :classical_building:

  • Gadisar Lake - 1.2 km :sunrise:

Days were spent exploring the narrow golden lanes, meeting locals, and soaking in the desert charm. Evenings at the hostel were filled with conversations, shared travel tips, and cultural exchanges with travelers from around the world. I also contributed by helping with small hostel activities and coordinating with guests when needed - making me feel part of a little travel community.

If you’re visiting Jaisalmer and looking for a budget-friendly yet vibrant stay, Jaisalmer Hostel Crowd is definitely worth considering. Great people, perfect location, and unforgettable vibes! :glowing_star:

You have done a great job @_aviralagrawal the pictures you’ve shared of the interior as well as of outside are really awesome with a great post.

I lived in Jodhpur for 6 years during my teenage, completed my schooling from there, and Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Jaipur, etc are a few of my favourite places where I used to visit once a year.

Your post has given me a feeling of nostalgia of those beautiful days and unforgettable memories of Jodhpur, my school, etc.

Thanks for sharing this post. Keep engaging in the community. :tada:

Hey @_aviralagrawal reminded me of my Jodhpur stay and Mehrangarh Fort, Toorji Ka Jhalra, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Clock Tower, Sardar Market, historic palaces, vibrant cultural traditions, local handicrafts like Bandhej fabric, and spicy Rajasthani cuisine, Dal Baati Churma, Pyaaz Kachori, traditional Rajasthani juttis, and bandhani (tie-dye) textiles. For visiting the Blue colored building, MARWAR festival, etc, I loved your detailed post!!

Thank you so much @DivyaAnu ! I’m really glad my post brought back such wonderful memories of Jodhpur for you. Your love for the culture, food, and traditions really shines through, makes me happy to share these experiences!

All the goodness of a hostel built in the classic golden-yellow tinges of Jaislamer - one cannot ask for more.

Fabulous photos and nicely articulated @_aviralagrawal, this is a perfect place for solo travelers to dwell when in the Golden City :+1:

The best part is its closeness - walking distance from the top tourist places :+1:
