The devastating flash floods in Nepal have left me deeply saddened. It is difficult to look at the images and stories coming from the affected areas and not think about the countless families whose lives have been turned upside down in such a short time.
Behind every number is a person, a family, a home, a story—and people who are now facing unimaginable loss and uncertainty.
My thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with everyone affected by this tragedy. I pray for those who are still missing, for the families desperately waiting for their loved ones, for those who have lost their homes and livelihoods, and for all the rescuers and volunteers working tirelessly on the ground.
And to our fellow Local Guides in Nepal, I sincerely hope you and your loved ones are safe and sound. We are thinking of you and hoping to hear from you again soon. Please stay safe. 
May Almighty protect those still in danger, bring the missing safely back to their families, ease the suffering of the survivors, and grant mercy and peace to those who have lost their lives.
