my main account had this issue where my google reviews are only visable to me when im logged in. I tried creating a new account, same thing.
I tried making short reviews, long ones, none of them show. help?

Please keep continuing with your good work. Nothing to be panic about. Creating multiple accounts may not solve your issues.
Some standard responses you may get here from various experienced contributors as the following:

Comply to Maps user-generated content policy

Comply to Prohibited and restricted content
-
Do not upload duplicate or redundant photos
-
Do not upload dark and/or blurred photos
-
Do not mention any contact details and/or name in your reviews
-
Refrain from posting general commentary as your review. It should be your experienced based review. (Wonder how AI determines that)

Do not post same photo at two or more different POI.
…etc…etc…
However, even complying to all of the above mentioned policies and criteria there is a fair possibility that your review/photo gets hidden and available to Public. This is quite a funny situation.
I have been reading the responses from various experts in this forum along with the policies, I did find some merit in the above listed points but they are not sufficient to address the subject concern in totality. As I have seen many a times even after complying to all such points, review/photo gets hidden or vice versa.
So, the final and only one solution that may work in such situation is to appeal for the account investigation. You may wish to fill up Account investigation for contributions not visible on Google Maps form to further request to perform account verification. There is no timeline set for this and in all probability you will not get any email response from the Google.
Therefore, my friend keep your finger crossed and wait for 15 day/a month or even longer period for Google to look into your account post you fill out the account investigation form.

- This is the only Spam email Google sent me each time when I reported this issue. I already sent more than 20 times to them, always the same email. I can see they do not want to help or do anything to fix this issue.
I often encounter the same situation. Some reviews and photos can only be seen by myself, but in reality, they haven’t been successfully published at all. I put effort into writing those reviews, wanting to share them with all users, but it feels like a futile endeavor. It can be really disheartening.
