Recently I have visited a new place at Naogaon. It was Porsha Upazilla. I have heard a lot about this amazing place before but couldn’t manage to visit there. The culture and pattern of local home are slightly different than the place I live. Had experience visiting some popular places there.
- Upazilla Model Mosque - This beautiful designed mosque was something I have seen for the first time. I read news about the model mosque project under the government. This looks too calm and peaceful.

- Porsha College or Porsha Government Degree College - Most of the college I have seen was situated near the bazar or populated local places. This was different. I couldn’t find a small cart shop or house around this college. This looks like abandon place at the first look, but this is a college with similar to bachelor degree option.
- Porsha Markaz Mosque - I found this mosque randomly and later I learned that this mosque is here for about 200+ years and this is one of the oldest mosque here in Naogaon.
- Al-Jamia Al-Arabia Darul Hedaya or popularly known as Porsha Madrasha - This was the only place I knew earlier by name. This big campus is widely known for holding biggest number of students and accommodate them with their own funding. I reached there at odd time. If anyone want’s to visit the porsha must visit this place before the Asar Prayer or best at the morning.
