I’m very happy to share a small but special milestone in my Local Guides journey — my first published Street View imagery outside Sri Lanka is now live!
I captured a pathway at the top of Gaisberg in Salzburg, Austria, on February 26, 2026, and uploaded the imagery the following day, February 27.
It took several months for the imagery to be published, so I was really pleased when I recently discovered that it had finally appeared on Street View.
As a Local Guide from Sri Lanka, this contribution is especially meaningful to me. Most of my contributions have been connected to places in Sri Lanka, so seeing my Street View imagery published in another country feels like an exciting new milestone.
Gaisberg is a beautiful location overlooking Salzburg, and I’m glad that my contribution can help others virtually explore a small part of this wonderful place.
