I’m Haroon from Pakistan, and today I want to share a special story that marked the beginning of my Local Guides journey on Google Maps.
A few years ago, I added the location of a small local clinic in my city. It was a simple contribution — just the name, location, and a couple of photos. I didn’t think much of it at the time.
A few weeks later, I visited that clinic again, and to my surprise, the doctor personally thanked me. He told me that before, his clinic wasn’t showing up on Google, and now new patients were finding their way there easily thanks to my update. That’s when I realized how even a small contribution can make a big difference in someone’s life.
