My first sushi
bite was at SAKO SUSHI in Malta about a year ago.
It tasted good, in fact it was excellent and the prices were cool so I ended up consuming more with a little push from CISK BEER
for I was scared I’ll throw up due to the initial raw taste and tangy feel in my mouth.
I really did enjoy the spicy tuna, east-west and twist and shout all of which are MAKI; rice rolled in seaweed with various toppings. The spicy tuna was made up of cooked chopped fresh tuna, spring onions, kimchee sauce and chili powder. The east-west was more of fried prawn, cream cheese, asparagus and gruyere. Salmon, tuna, crispy tempura with spicy sauce made up the twist & shout.
I think my Maltese best friend; Marco did a great
job in getting me the best of sushi’s that day for that was my first and best sushi
ever. It was fun when he was teaching how to use chopsticks
; my first time.
In all, It was a nice experience and if you’ve not had this yet, kindly give it a try and you’ll love it.
