My Favorite Place To Go Jogging

#monthlytopic of April 2020 - My Hobby

I’ve been jogging regularly for about 5 years now. It has become a hobby to keep my body fit. Usually I jog 30 minutes a day in my housing area. I prefer to jog not far from home, so I can go to work on time. But once a week, on the weekend, I go to my favorite jogging place. Actually there are few choices to jog in Jakarta, but Gelanggang Olahraga Velodrome Rawamangun in the morning wins me. These are the reason:

  1. The jogging track
    As a part of Jakarta International Velodrome sports facility, which was used as the venue for 2018 Asian Games and 2018 Asian Para Games, its jogging track is particularly well-made and maintained. The track is very comfortable. It is designed especially for running. Otherwise, several people choose to do walking, aerobics, or taichi.

  2. The vibes
    There is a bunch of people who do sports everyday in here. The place will get quite crowded, especially on the weekend. They bring family and friends to run together. This kind of situation will surely create a match atmosphere to keep myself running. It is also a good spot to enjoy the fresh morning sun.

A little jog in the morning will give you a big energy boost to keep you in a good mood throughout the day. It also makes you feel as if you’ve accomplished something even before the day is started. It is nice to have a healthy life.

So, what is your favorite sport activity?

Hi, @Lusianaa

Thank you for joining #monthlytopic of this month!
Your hobby is good for your health! In fact, I used to jogging in the past but after I injured my knee, I have paused it. I am definitely out of shape now :joy: I should consider to restart it.

You’re welcome @HiroyukiTakisawa :slightly_smiling_face:

Oh, I’m sorry to hear that. Hope you consider your knee recovery first before getting back to jogging. I think start walking for exercise could be an option for your condition.

Hahaa…

Hobi yang menarik :smiling_face::smiling_face:

Wah asyik sekali banyak penjual makanan disana. Asal pemasukan (makan) jangan lebih besar daripada pengeluaran (olahraga) saja ya, kak @iorikun301 hahaha

Waduh…, kalau begini namanya besar tiang daripada pasak, dong, Kak @Lusianaa ? Hahaa… :sweat_smile: :sweat_smile:

@Lusianaa Jogging is a nice hobby. My favorite is Yoga. I practice 30 minutes a day. :slightly_smiling_face: Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

@Ant_Bad_Yogi you’re welcome :slightly_smiling_face:

Woah cool! You must be good in balancing your body. What kind of Yoga do you do? Is it good to burn fat?

@Lusianaa I’m not that good, that’s why I keep practicing. :slightly_smiling_face: I like Vinyasa and Hatha yoga. You might try them online as well. But I don’t have any fat to burn. Hahaha
