A few days ago, I ordered a Hazelnut Cold Coffee Frappe. Honestly, the taste was amazing — not too costly and really enjoyable.
But here’s the thing: even though it tasted great, it affected my sleep badly at night. I think the coffee had a high caffeine content, and because I had it around 5:30 in the evening, I couldn’t sleep properly the whole night. My sleep was disturbed, and I felt restless.
The next day, I had to go to the office as usual. Since I didn’t sleep well, my eyes were watery in the morning, and I felt extremely tired at work. Later, my sister told me that this happened because of the high caffeine in the coffee.
I’m not saying you should stop drinking cold coffee — it’s really tasty, and I loved the Hazelnut Frappe. But I just want to alert you: avoid drinking it in the evening or at night. Coffee takes at least 7–8 hours to be processed by the body, so it’s better to have it in the morning or daytime.
The café itself (Olivo Bakers & Café) is really good, and I’d definitely recommend trying it. Just make sure you enjoy it at the right time, otherwise you might end up like me — struggling with sleep and a heavy, tired day afterward.
