I seldom leave an opportunity to meet Local guides from my beautiful city and when I got the email to attend a meet-up at Google Hyderabad, how can I let it pass!
On 12/12/19, a busy weekday, Hyderabad local guides were invited to meet Googler’s and other top local guides for couple of hours, little did we know that there were more Googlers present than during Connect live Hyderabad in August. There were Googlers from Seattle, USA; Sydney, Australia; Bangalore, India and ofcourse from Google Hyderabad office which apparently has more Googlers here than in any city in India.
We were allowed inside Google Hyderabad and treated with evening tea along with my favourite Osmania biscuits and some other snacks.
We got the opportunity to have one on one chats with lots of Googlers which was really informative, it was really nice to see familiar faces and also @liambolling whom we got to meet again after connect live.
Afterwards, there were interactive sessions about Google maps products, upcoming features, training demos on how to add roads and add road closures etc.
Time flew by and we all took a group photo before wrapping up for the day.
Google had a cool souvenir for all the Local guides attending the event.
