Hello, just to let you know that my edits on Google Maps have not been accepted these days, especially during the first few months of 2026. Perhaps this might solve the issue so that most of my edits have been accepted in the future. Thank you.

You are not alone on this. The LG team has assured me that the engineering team is working to solve this issue. Personally I have seen improvements from nothing getting approved to now maybe 40 percent of my edits getting approved.

What kind of edits? Adding roads or places? Modify roads or places? What kind of places?
I added two places recently and got acceptance within just a few minutes. A chicken restaurant, and a clothing store.

This is really encourage me. I have stopped adding anything because of rejection. Only roads and deleting wrong places.
So it seems we’re having the opposite experiences @khmansour1. I draw roads almost every day and only got 4 approvals so far for August. Most of the others aren’t rejected though. Just still pending.
When I edited the bus charter company listing in Singapore’s business listing, I tried to add the phone number for the bus company but it got rejected. Perhaps this might solve the issue.

Hope all my edits on Google Maps will be approved in the future, with no rejected edits when creating (excluding businesses with Exchange).
