Just by the time I uploaded my post “My superpower? I’m an active Local Guide!” , I submitted a proposal of an article to be published in Remolacha.net, one of the most influential websites in my country (the Dominican Republic) and just today I got some great news: it got published!
It was written about 4 months ago and it focuses on the opportunities of being a Local Guide during the pandemic, and how without spending a cent and from the comfort (and safety) of your home you can help the community by using Google Maps to promote, applaud and help improve local business. I mention about Local Guides Dominicana and about how cool of an experience it was to be part of the magical bubble of the Connect Live 2019.
As a self-proclaimed Local Guides and Google Maps brand ambassador, being given the chance to spread the word about the program in the local media is undoubtedly something I would label as an achievement, and for this reason, I wanted to share my joy with this my beloved community.
