My Alibaug Trip Episode 5 - Water Sports experience at Kashid Beach.

Hello all my dear LG friends,

We have now arrived at the end of My Alibaug Trip series in which I am going to share my Water sports experience like Parasailing and other water sports.

Kashid Beach is a very famous beach in Alibaug for its water sports. Beach is situated around 50 km from M2M Ro Pax Terminal Mandwa. Beach has all the facilities such as Parking, Food Stall, Chat Center, Water Sports, Beach Motor Bikes, Horse and Horse cart ride, Camel ride etc.

The stalls on the beach also have a bathing room/ changing room and they provide hot water on request.

I reached the beach around 11 AM from the Elysium Resort where I stayed, which is 19.5 Km from the beach. It took almost 30 mins by car.
I parked my car along the road stalls which are maintained by the Village at a cost of Rs. 50/- for a full day. Then I went to one of the stalls where I did buy a cap and some play stuff for my son. You can get all necessary items from these stalls for enjoyment on the beach. We started our beach enjoyment by drinking coconut water. Then we changed our clothes at the facility by the stalls.

We did our start by riding on horse and horse cart. It was very much enjoyable at the beach. The air flow at the beach was awesome and a very thrilling experience.

Later, I booked tickets (at Rs. 800/- per head including Banana Ride) for Parasailing, which is the most attractive sport at the beach. They took me from the beach to the Parasailing boat by Banana Boat ride. It was an awesome Banana ride. Within 2-3 mins I reached the Parasailing boat. On boarding, they gave safety instructions. Only me and my family were there as customers. There were 4 crew doing their specified task. One is for boat riding, one is for safety kits, one is for direction guidance and one is for shooting videos and photos on request.

On finishing instructions and installing safety belts etc, they told me to stand on the take off board. There they attached me to the Canopy. There were two crew members holding me and slowly, by increasing the speed of the boat towards the opposite direction of the wind, they took me off in the Air. It was a thrilling experience for me. They also made me deep in the sea water twice. You can see in the collage at right bottom corner photo. You can opt not to deep as they ask about it at the start. After 3 mins they pulled me down gradually, that time our Kid in the mind says no please, I want to stay here and let enjoy . You can tell them to extend the parasailing as per charges. It was an awesome experience for me. You must experience this when you are in Alibaug. I experienced parasailing thrice, one with my Son, one alone at Kashid beach and one with my wife at Nagaon beach.

After this Parasailing activity, they dropped us at the beach again by Banana ride from Parasailing boat to beach. So in this case we can enjoy a Banana Boat ride twice. On reaching the beach, we again did Jet Skiing, Bumper ride etc which are also thrilling water sports.

After spending much time in water sports and playing in water with my son, we were starving. The sea food available at the stall was awesome which gave taste of village food. We really enjoyed the sea food at this beach.

After lunch, we relaxed at the stall. They have net swing, on which we relaxed for 2 hours and enjoyed the evening at the beach. Later, we were roaming on the beach and enjoyed beach sports bike ride and sunset view.

So, this way you can spend a lot of time on the beach by playing water sports and by playing in the water. My son enjoyed playing a lot in the water. Water at the beach is very clean.

After spending such a memorable and joyful time, we left towards M2M Ro Pax Terminal Mandwa for Mumbai. This is the end of My Alibaug Trip series.

Hi @Rohan10 I really wanted to visit Alibaug but I was really not sure how am I supposed to spend my time. I can’t sit the whole day in resort. I also knew there is a beach but I never knew there are so many activities happens here.

मला पाणी थोडे घाबरते त्यामुळे मी जास्त पाण्याशी मस्ती नाही करत आणि उंची तर खूपच घाबरते त्यामुळे हे काय तू पॅरासेलिंग केलेस ते मी केले नाही कधी.

पण आम्ही मित्र जेव्हा दापोलीला कर्दे बीच ला दापोली जवळ गेलो होतो त्यावेळी थोडे वॉटरस्पोर्टस खेळलो होतो.
