Hello to all fellow Local Guides,
It is now a few years since Google introduced Public Lists and this amazing tool helped lots of people to find places in a specific field.
Since first, public lists were amazing to me and I started to prepare many public lists as a volunteer because I believe this is a very useful tool.
I try to complete lists and try to keep them up-to-date. So, many of my public lists are complete ones based on Google’s criteria. Even after introducing emojis for lists, I updated all of my lists and added a respective emoji to them.
Because of my enthusiasm for lists, and because I think these are very valuable, I’m not happy with the latest change in the new way lists will be shared.
Anyway, without paying any attention to points, I just continued creating amazing lists such as Vegetarian Restaurants in Iran, Scientific Tourism Destinations of Tehran, Eating and Drinking like an Iranian Local Guide, Observatories in Iran, and many others such as lists of top book stores, top shopping malls, top restaurants in many cities. I also added several lists of Persian Restaurants in different cities of the world such as London, France, and Istanbul.
I like all of my public lists and it makes me really happy when I see they’re useful for many people and many saved them. But I have personal feelings for some of them, too. For example the list of World Heritage Sites in Iran. And about the 100th public list: Few days ago UNESCO announced 54 Caravansarai of Iran as World Heritage Sites and I proudly dedicated my 100th list to them.
I thought it would be good to share with you. I hope this post motivates other users to create amazing lists to share with others.
