Muzej Kumrovec i rodno selo Josipa Broza Tita

Muzej “Staro selo Kumrovec”

Zaista vrijedi posjetiti.

What a beautiful and a serene place. This village looks too quiet and beautiful. Definitely worth to visit.

Thanks for sharing a little about Tito with us here on Connect. I will read more about him soon.

Best regards. @renata1

@renata1 Lovely photos. It’s interesting to compare cultures. Is the house in the museum made of clay? Did they build such houses in Croatia too? It looks like ancient houses in Ukraine.

Kumrovec Museum and the native village of Josip Broz Tito…

Beautiful…

All the photos from the museum are attractive…

& Valuable too.

Is the 3rd photo of Tito?

I have heard that it too is his nickname…

What was his original name?

I have some humble suggestions:

If you Serial number your photos, it will be easy for the readers to mention.

Size of your photos:

If you permit, I would like to suggest the following to you:

Ciao @renata1 how interesting this post. We Italians have known Tito well, and as you say, even here in Italy, for some heroe, for others a brutal tyrant. For the great characters of history it is always like this, they will always have friends and enemies, it is the price that they have to pay to go down in history and surely Tito is in History with a capital H. I have never been through that village, but I think it can be a very interesting place to visit. I don’t think I can reach it by bicycle, there are too many climbs and I am starting to have many years on my legs !! :slightly_smiling_face: :slightly_smiling_face: :slightly_smiling_face: I’ll have to organize myself with the car, maybe during a visit to my Croatian friends in Istria! A big hug and thanks Renata!

Jesu li i u Bjelorusiji nekada gradili takve kuće?

@renata1 Belarussian ancient buildings are fully wooden, as we have enough of forests in Belarus.

You may read about wooden churches in museum-scansen Strochitsy near Minsk in my post. This house is also from those museum.

Clay buildings I saw in Ukraine, one of them belonged to my granny.

Ima ih u Moslavini, Lici i Gorskom kotaru.
