Music festivals are a huge thing in Europe. I don’t know about Mumbai, but here the majority or maybe all of them are organized during the summer time. Is it the same there? Can you please describe one of the music festivals that you have attended in Mumbai? I’m very interested to find out if the ones in my part of the world are similar to the ones in yours.

Yes, we have lots of music fests here in India. We have various fests and few biggest of them are such as NH7, Bangalore Open Air, Sunburn, Sula Fest etc.
All these fests are of different kind of music fest due different generes of music.

Particularly, if you ask me, my favourite genre is Rock and Heavy Metal and best fest we have for this genres is Banglore Open Air. This is country’s biggest fest, many international artist have played here in last 5-6 years, bands such as Suffocation, Abbath, Kreator, Destruction and many more.
Recently I have attended one DIY milti genre music fest in Mumbai where more than 45 local and national artists played for two day. Most interesting thing about this fest is that this is DIY fest and pay what you want basis, means audience can pay whatever amouny they want to attend this festival. Festival name is Control Alt Delete and this was its 11th successful edition held in farm located in suburb of Mumbai city.
We witnessed Rock, Metal, Hip Hop, Electronic and fusion bands and it was a treat for music lovers.
