5 Hiking Tips:

  • Always research the hike to ensure you can do it, about any obstacles, and check for fees (like parking overnight or for camping).
  • For steep terrain bring hiking sticks to help you up and ease impact on your way down.
  • Be sure to carry your own water and food. This way every person always has enough for themselves.
  • Please always take home all of your trash if there isn’t any trash collection in the area. This will help save ito environment for generations to come.
  • Safety first! Don’t take unnecessary risks, push yourself too hard, or forget your long range radio.
