Mount Al-Makmel, sitting above the clouds

Jabal Al-Mukmal is the highest mountain in Lebanon. It is the highest peak in the Levant, Qornet Al-Sawda, with a height of 3093 meters above sea level. The largest part of this mountain is located in the district of Denniye, including Qornet Al-Sawda in the North Lebanon Governorate. Snow covers these mountains in the winter and remains in some of them throughout the year.
