Mount Abu in Summer – Is It Really Worth Visiting? My Honest Experience

Hello Local Guides! :waving_hand:

Most people plan a trip to Mount Abu during summer to escape the heat—but I recently visited to see if it’s actually worth it during peak season.

First Impression :sunrise_over_mountains:

The journey from Abu Road to Mount Abu is quite scenic. As you start going uphill, the temperature drops and the surroundings become greener.

Places I Explored :round_pushpin:

  • Nakki Lake
One of the most lively spots—perfect for boating and evening walks

  • Guru Shikhar
The highest point with amazing panoramic views

  • Dilwara Temples
Known for incredible marble architecture and peaceful atmosphere

  • Sunset Point
A great place to relax and enjoy sunset views

What I Liked :+1:

  • Cooler weather compared to nearby cities

  • Good mix of nature and local market vibe

  • Easy to explore most places in 1–2 days

Things to Keep in Mind :warning:

  • Weekends can get crowded

  • Traffic during peak hours on hill roads

  • Popular spots are busy in the evening

My Final Thoughts :thought_balloon:

Even with the crowd, Mount Abu still feels like a refreshing summer escape. Planning your timing properly makes a big difference.

  • Ideal trip duration: 2 days

It’s a great destination for couples, families, or even a short solo break.
