Most Scenic Waterfalls of Meghalaya, India

Recently I have visited the Meghalaya a state in northeastern India. The word Meghalaya means “The Abode of Clouds”. Meghalaya is famous for being the wettest place on earth. Rain and the waterfalls make the place wet. I have visited many magnificent waterfalls here. Today I will make a list of that natural beautiful waterfalls.

Seven Sisters Falls
Also known as Nohsngithiang Falls or Mawsmai Falls. Seven Sisters Falls is situated Cherrapunjee. This is a seven-step cascade and one of the most gorgeous waterfalls of Meghalaya.

Elephant Falls
Elephant Falls is one of the famous waterfalls in Shillong, Meghalaya. Located approximately 12 kilometers away from Shillong city, this place is regularly visited by tourists and locals, particularly in weekends.

Kynrem Falls
Kynrem Falls Located near Cherrapunji, inside the Thangkarang Park. It is the 7th highest waterfalls in India.

Nohkalikai Falls
The tallest plunge waterfall of India, Nohkalikai Falls is located near Cherrapunji and a major tourist attractions.

Bophill and Beadon Falls
Bishop and Beadon are one of the most spectacular twin falls within the city of Shillong, Meghalaya.

Dain-Thlen Falls
Dain-thlen Falls is one of the most picturesque waterfalls, located at Sohra, near Cherrapunji, best known for its marvelous and gorgeous views.

If anyone loves to explore waterfalls and tracking in hill station Meghalaya will be a perfect destination for them. I have created a List of waterfalls on Google map.
