In as much as I love using google maps for road directions and checking notable photos around the road since it always comes in handy anywhere, I also love checking some of the reviews written about such places.
I remembered going on a trip outside town with my family and we were looking for a place to have a nice meal, we saw two eateries, I wanted a local dish while the rest of my family wanted a continental dish, so how do we know the difference and the best among the two, I opened my phone for the review and our mystery was unraveled. Since that day, I made up my mind on two things; to always leave a review no matter how few for
-
People to make an informed decision wherever they find themselves and
-
Business owners to have feedback on how their business is doing
The first example of such feedback was from Radisson Blu after my review and rating

Giving reviews and ratings of places on Google Maps is my own way of contributing to making the world a better place to live. Through these contributions, I’ve been able to help people make an informed decision with little or no time available, make small companies review their service delivery to humanity. I must say I love what Google is doing with the maps by allowing the input of others making it the most interesting thing I’ve done as a Local Guide!
