An amazing peak located within the central highlands just off the Nuwara Eliya city limits. The main point of interest of Moon Plains is the view point located at the top of the hill that provides a 360 degree view of the surrounding landscape. They offer safari jeep rides to the top of the hill at a decent fee. Its also said to be the home for many types of birds, deer and Buffalo. A must visit site in the hill country.

@npathiraja , Seems you had a wonderful trip to the beautiful hill country in Sri Lanka. It’s a nice video. it would be great if you could also add details like what are the district’s provinces you can see from the observation deck in Moon plans, what times you can visit the place, the photo farm where moon plains situated in etc…
