#monthlytopic of September--cafe Bosco in Moscow.

Dear local guides

This post is inspired by @HiroyukiTakisawa as a # monthlytopic of September 2020.

I would like to share my impressions from this perfect and unique place in Moscow.

BOSCO CAFÉ. Italian classic Grand cafe on Red square, in a unique historical place in Moscow, with the highest level of service. and great cuisine. This is one of the oldest institutions in Moscow. The restaurant occupies two floors: on the ground floor there is a main hall with a Grand piano and a traditional Italian pastry shop with pastries and desserts behind a wide glass window. The interior of the cafe is exquisite. The ceilings are decorated with paintings-frescoes with floral ornaments made by masters from Italy and Russia, which echo the patterns on Richard Ginori porcelain dishes. On the second floor of the restaurant is a unique luxury Murano glass chandelier made to order in Venice.

I especially like the outdoor summer veranda with a view of Red square in the historical center of Moscow. For 16 years of its existence, it has become a favorite place for many Muscovites and guests of the capital. If you are visiting Moscow, you need to visit Red square and enjoy delicious desserts at BOSCO CAFÉ.

I really like very refined tender and delicious dessert ’’Bosco’’

Here you can also try the famous’’ Anna Pavlova ‘’dessert, named after the legendary Russian ballerina.

:+1: :grinning:

This is another tempting dessert, @helga19 . Should I ever make it to Moscow, after visiting the must stop - Red Square, I would really consider enjoying a nice traditional dessert.

The dessert “Bosco” seems to be having much less calories and to be considered as healthy, so I might get two.

After being in Moscow airport for 5-6 times, I really hope the next time I can go out of the airport and enjoy the city! :flight_departure:

P.S.: I am also relabeling this post to our Food & Drink board as this is where Local Guides share their detailed experiences in restaurants and descriptions of must try local foods.
