I am not a tech-savvy person and I rather stumbled upon or hurled into being a 21st century Local Guide. Funnily enough I started enjoying it from day one, being a rather gregarious person and being gifted with the art of writing. When you have a passion in your heart and a hunger for appreciation it just fuels your drive to contribute more. I put my heart and mind exploring London (and then spread my wings further out). My android became my partner in crime as we unleashed adventures on a daily basis with reviews and photos.
This then became a passion and as I discovered the perks of being a Local Guide it opened up a whole new world of opportunities and I became a true wanderlust (virtually and literally).
My adventures did not just stop at being a Local Guide for Google. I compiled my findings and published them on my blog (www.chaimusingsblog.wordpress.com) on exploring London on a budget and its hidden treasures. To me, this was an exhilarating experience and I swelled with pride when feedbacks and compliments poured in to say how informative this blog was, not only for tourists but also for many of my friends who had visited London several times, but, never thought or explored it the way that I had written. I think this was the most interesting milestone I had as a local guide.
Hi Sutapa, you wrote a lovely review about our Post Production House when you did a voice-over at it back in 2020. Wanted to ask about a photo and wondered if you can get in touch. Thanks
