The “Add a photo” button is missing for some places, but shows for other places.

Could anyone offer a tip on how to make the “Add a photo” button visible?

Hi @hz10 - from past experiences with this type of situation, sometimes contributions such as photos or reviews may be disabled for particular places of interests. Sometimes this is controlled by the owner or Google under their own discretion.

Do you happen to know the possible reasons for disabling them?
@hz10 usually because of some external factors that may affect reviews or other content uploaded.

I am unable to figure out any differences between the places allowing adding photos and those not.

In relation to your inquiry, it would seem that the location happen to be a Polygon (in this case it’s a point - supposedly this would be the location you have mentioned previously, Yabazhai, am I correct?)
As @SP31 also kindly provided, at times some locations may be influenced externally or internally.
From a more recent post, do feel free to check out Can’t add photos for cemeteries and other locations, should it provide a bit more information on the main subject.
