You can already do this on Maps @KrishnaKrishna suggest an edit, mark it as closed with the reason of duplicate and you’ll get a list of potential duplicates then you choose the right one. The two places will be merged and all photos and reviews transferred to the survivor.

В этом случае вы можете ‘предложить исправление’ для одного из мест, выбрать опцию ‘удалить это место’, а затем в качестве причины выбрать ‘место уже есть на карте’. Появится список мест, выберите правильное.
